Meet Kayla
I'm Kayla, a business advisor to women whose name is behind the brand they’re known for.
For more than 17 years I've worked alongside founders, executives, authors, speakers and creators on how to grow and how to be known for what makes them unique. I've shaped strategy for Fortune 500 C-suites, taken brands from unknown to known, built and led teams that drove significant revenue and helped leaders establish category authority.
I've also built speaker platforms and worked on nine books with authors, including bestsellers, across self-published, hybrid and traditional paths. I understand what it takes to be the face of your work, and I bring both to every decision we make together.

How I got here
I grew up in a small town, you know, "dreaming of being a businesswoman in a big city." I wanted to set records, be known and do what I saw women do in Devil Wears Prada, Legally Blonde, Will & Grace and You've Got Mail. People thought I was crazy. I moved to Chicago at 18 anyway.
I started as a PR intern in college. Going to the John Hancock building for work felt like I had made it. (It's giving movies, ya know?) Then a marketing internship in the Meatpacking District turned into a full-time job that changed everything.
Over the years I've worked privately with founders, ex-Fortune 100 executives, creators, doctors and hospitality brands. They were in wildly different industries with the same drive to be the best and known in their fields. That variety taught me what's universal in business growth and what's specific to the person leading it.
That intern is now the advisor founders call when the decisions get next level.
What I Learned Over Time
Early on, I tried to grow through nonstop hustle until I hit a wall. What actually made the big goals possible was the right strategy, structure and people in my corner. (Don’t get me wrong though, I have plenty of 1 am working nights.)
I don't believe in shrinking our dreams, we just have to build the right structure to support it (as best we can).
Now I'm the advisor who can see what you can't from inside your own business and help you make smart decisions fast so you can hit your next goal.
How I work with my clients
More than anything, I love being a founder's right hand, in it side by side, strategizing, building and working through the options together.
I see the women I work with where they actually are. There are bills and payroll, people who depend on the business, revenue targets to hit and a whole life to live on top of it. I never forget that what we decide together has real impact, and I take it as seriously as they do.
I work with a small number of private clients at a time, by inquiry or invitation.
My advisory is not your basic coaching or productivity hacks.
It is a deeply personal, tailored, strategic partnership where your business, life, priorities, energy, and identity are treated as one unified system and built with intention.

My long-term vision is to reshape the standard for how successful women build, work and live — so their business and life fuels them, not drains them.
What life looks like on the other side of my laptop
When I’m not working, you’ll find me hanging out with my husband and our min pin, Percy, manifesting through manicures, planning weekend getaways, or hunting down the best local shops. I love a good antique, great coffee, and finding humor in everyday life.
Like everyone, I have my obsessions — mine happen to include my dog (who has his own psychic and gets acupuncture once a week), listening to Lady Gaga, Harry Styles and classical piano, watching Seinfeld, and building my dreams with the help of my psychic, guides and mentors. I’m also up to my ears obsessing over my health and following TCM.
When I’m not doing that, I’m probably on my personal Instagram lamenting about my favorite things.
Beyond the Bio
I’m a recovering perfectionist and work on being more flexible every day. That said, there are three things I don’t budge on:
If I order champagne and a restaurant only has prosecco, I’ll get a club soda.
I exclusively* get my candles, hand wash + diffusers from Hotel Lobby Candle (I’ve placed 50+ orders).
Caviar is my favorite snack. No special occasion needed. My go-to is Petrossian.
